ORGET LEFT AND RIGHT. We're coming up. We are the groundswell.

If there is one thing that truly terrifies the ruling élite, any ruling élite, it is a united populace resolved no longer to give its consent to be abused. It is our numbers, and the anonymity that numbers confer, as much as the hubris that disposes our "leaders" to look upon us as so many ants, that leaves the latter ultimately helpless to stop a vast, unarmed, constitutional retraction of power.

Where talk of armed rebellion arises, our governors are empowered by law and expected by the citizenry to smash it aborning. But determined political action and nonviolent civil disobedience, as practiced by Mohandas Gandhi and Martin Luther King, are far harder to discredit and squelch. And we of the Solidarity Alliance will make common cause with all who do not worship the ledger and the sword until the rights of man and woman are acknowledged and respected throughout the United States and the world.
